Animal Track Pottery is made by plaster casting a track or using a paw  and then pressing into clay; then the clay is fired and glazed.

Horsehair Pottery is made by throwing a traditional native american style pot, then burnishing and firing and adding hair and feathers as the last step once the pot is taken out of the fire.

BEAR PAW Soap Dish or Spoon Rest

Here is one of my bear paw soap dishes [actual size of bear paw pottery is approximately 5 inches by 5 inches].

ALLIGATOR Print Spoon Rest

These unique alligator prints also make great spoon rests for the kitchen stove or can be used as a soap dish or trinket holder
[size is approx. 5" x 5"].

BOBCAT PAW Print Refrigerator Magnets

Refrigerator magnets made from bobcat paw prints make interesting additions to your kitchen.

[Actual size of bobcat paw pottery is approximately 2 inches by 2 inches.]

The fine dark lines in this traditional Native
American Pottery are created using hair and feathers on a pot that is burnished with a
small stone and then fired until it is red hot.
The hair and feathrs burn into the pot and
make a beautiful and unique one-of-a-kind
pattern on each piece.

HORSEHAIR POTTERY - Traditional closed pot

This is a traditional horsehair pot that I refer to as a "closed style".

Because the horsehair pottery must be porous in order to achieve its effect, it is not to be used as a water vessel or immersed in water.

HORSEHAIR POTTERY - Traditional open pot

This is another style of horsehair pot that I call the "open style".  It can be decorated with leather and beads.

Both the closed pot and the open pot are approximately 4" in diameter and approximately 2" to 4" tall.
